Who we are (data controller)

ReefKids is operated by Petra Vrhovnik s.p., Polana 59a, 3273 Jurklošter, Slovenia. We are the controller of the personal data described here.

What we collect

When you reserve a spot, we collect your email address and, if you answer our optional pricing question, that answer.

When you use the site, our analytics and advertising tools may collect technical data such as your IP address, device and browser type, and cookie identifiers.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

To email you about ReefKids early access and to lock in your early-bird price, on the basis of your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).

To understand which ads and pages work, using cookies and similar tools, on the basis of your consent where required, otherwise our legitimate interest in improving the product (Art. 6(1)(f)).

You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

Cookies and advertising tools

We may use the Meta (Facebook) pixel and similar tools to measure ad performance. These set cookies and share limited event data with the provider.

You can manage cookies in your browser and opt out of interest-based ads through your ad settings with the relevant provider.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers ('processors') who act only on our instructions: our form provider (Formspree), our website host, and our email and analytics tools.

We do not sell your data or share it for anyone else's independent marketing.

International transfers

Some providers are located outside the EU/EEA (for example, in the United States). Where data is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

We keep your email until the early-access campaign ends or you unsubscribe, whichever comes first, and then delete or anonymise it within 12 months.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We respond within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Slovenia, the Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec, ip-rs.si), or the authority in your own country.

Children

ReefKids is a product for families, but this website and waitlist are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us their data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date above.
